Holland America Line has appointed Jarvis Bowers to the position of vice president, digital marketing. In this newly created role, he is responsible for working with the digital and marketing teams to lead the development of next-generation digital communications and analytics. Jarvis, who is based in Seattle at the Holland America Line headquarters, will report to Joe Slattery, senior vice president, global marketing and sales. “Jarvis has an extensive background in digital marketing and his knowledge and expertise will be a tremendous asset to the department,” said Slattery. “As digital marketing continues to grow we recognized the need to create a position that brings a strong leader from this field into the team, and we’re thrilled to welcome Jarvis to Holland America Line.” Most recently Bowers was at Expedia where he led the global loyalty marketing team. Prior to that he was vice president, digital, for SunPower Corporation – a leading solar energy enterprise. Brian Collins is Chief Creative Officer of COLLINS, an independent brand and experience design company in New York City and San Francisco. In 2016 COLLINS was named by Forbes as one of the companies reshaping the future of brand building. In 2017 they were included in “50 Places That Creative People Would Kill to Work At,” along with Tesla, Pixar, Apple Google, and Disney. Over his career, Brian has won every major creative award. In 2017, COLLINS developed the concept and design for Ford’s City of Tomorrow, focusing on the future of urban mobility. Andy Yost is the Chief Marketing Officer for Gannett Co, Inc where he is responsible for all brand & consumer marketing for Gannett and its portfolio of USA TODAY NETWORK media brands (USA TODAY and 109 Gannett U.S. Community Newspapers). With a passionate focus on the customer, he has created customer-driven marketing programs that have led to outstanding revenue and retention results for a wide-range of premium brand companies. In his current role, Andy is responsible for leading Gannett’s efforts to build, engage and retain audience across its portfolio of media brands at a local and national level. Prior to this role, he led Gannett’s Consumer Marketing organization where he expanded the traditional focus of circulation marketing to more broadly encompass multi-platform initiatives that span the full range of audience engagement & monetization opportunities beyond subscription sales. Prior to joining Gannett in May 2014, Andy served in a range of senior marketing leadership positions in media/entertainment and financial services industries having worked for Viacom, Dow Jones, Columbia House and American Express. Andy received his MBA from Columbia Business School and his BA from Bucknell University.

Neal Zamore is the SVP Global Digital Customer Experience for Avis Budget Group, where he is charged with creating a uniform digital strategy and customer experience for Avis and Budget brands globally. Neal’s first role at Avis Budget Group was Vice President, Consumer Marketing & CRM, where as the General Manager for North America Avis, Budget, Budget Truck, and Payless brands he created digital, mobile, and traditional marketing programs that built the brand footprint while optimizing profitability and cutting conversion costs. Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, Neal was Vice President, Strategic Marketing Initiatives for Cigna. In just one year, he created several first-ever tools and strategies including an enterprise campaign management system, a purchase predictability model, and a new website to increase brand footprint and maximize retail marketing penetration. Previously, Neal spent three years at Allianz Global Investors, where as Senior Vice President, Director, eSolutions & Client Intelligence, he elevated their lead generation systems to a state-of-the-art portal and launched an award-winning public website which maximized efficiencies and drove sales growth. Earlier, as Vice President, Director of eCommerce & Distribution Technology for Oppenheimer Funds, Neal managed the strategy for the company website, email channels, and CRM. During his eight-year tenure, he developed the industry’s #1 financial advisory website and email newsletter and #2 shareholder website. Neal honed his skills in online and interactive marketing through several earlier roles with increasing responsibility at Arthur Anderson, Met Life, and GE Capital. He also founded two web design and data management companies at the beginning of his career. Neal earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently lives in New Jersey.
Alex Zhang is a data scientist with the Marketing Data Science team in Hewlett Packard Enterprise. His current work focuses on using big data for B2B digital marketing. During his career at HPE, Alex has held positions in HP Labs, HP Technology Services, and HPE Global Marketing. Alex has worked on a wide variety of projects applying business analytics, and has extensive experiences turning big data into business insight. Alex is a co-author of 25 US patents (granted), and 21 research publications. Prior to joining HP, Alex was an assistant professor for 7 years at Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California. He received a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
